I think I get it but not entirely sure. Also, I think you can ride elephants at the zoo. Though I may be making that up. Or I may be thinking of a different zoo.
To clarify, I get the whole political thing. But not all pubs are bad people. I've recently been shocked by this last election to realize how many people I know ride elephants. So to speak.

Though, riding an elephant may actually be a heck of a lot more fun than a boney donkey. Physically, speaking of course.
